    Pre-departure:

    If you are reading this and haven’t started with your application, start now. Try and put as much effort into your application as possible. It may feel very time consuming, but all the effort will definitely pay off once you get selected. Put at least a full weekend aside to do the whole application. The video takes some time.

    Once you have received that phone call from the International office and accepted the nomination, start with your admin as soon as possible. You will only receive your travel bursary once you’ve been accepted at the partner university. This can some time.

    You are reading this probably because you are interested in going to France’s EM Strasbourg Business School in France or because you have been accepted to go. If you have been accepted, I would like to congratulate you! This journey will be an amazing experience and you remember it for your lifetime. Going overseas is something really big, it takes a lot of planning to do. Thus, I strongly recommend that you get all admin, tickets, visa applications, cash exchange sorted out as soon as possible.

    I had always dreamt of attending a summer program abroad since I was in first year, so I began doing my research way ahead of time to make sure I would meet the criteria of a potential candidate. When the applications opened, it was important for me to go through each of the programs and see what was available.  I eventually selected a business course in economics; I am an aspiring global entrepreneur so I thought this course would help me further this aspiration.
