Intreeredes

’n Intreerede is ’n formele geleentheid vir professors wat nuut aangestel is of wat volle professorskap ontvang het. Hulle moet die lesing binne ’n jaar ná hul aanstelling of bevordering aanbied. Hierdie lesings word deur die loop van die jaar in hibridiese formaat – in persoon en aanlyn – gehou.

Die lesings bied aan hierdie professors die geleentheid om hul kennis, wetenskaplike ontdekkings en selfs persoonlike reis in hul onderskeie vakgebiede met die publiek en akademiese gemeenskap te deel. Kollegas, familielede en ander belangstellendes word ook genooi om hierdie intreeredes by te woon.

Die Registrateursafdeling is vir die koördinering van die produksie en publikasie van intreeredes verantwoordelik. Die Afdeling Korporatiewe Kommunikasie en Bemarking werk saam met die toepaslike fakulteite om die nodige logistieke reëlings vir die geleenthede te tref.
