I hereby give consent to the University of Stellenbosch to collect, publish, republish, or otherwise process and/or transmit still and moving images, audio, film recordings in any and all of the following ways:
· publicity and promotional materials, including advertising material and printed publications, websites, social media channels and digital communications materials;
· presentation and exhibition materials;
· news media and their associated websites, social media channels;
· print publications, television and radio;
· making derivative works;
· licencing or assigning the Recordings to any person;
· combining the Recordings with text or other photographs, audio, film or audio-visual works; and
· disposing of any of the above entitlements, in part or full.
I understand that once the Recordings have been used in publicly available materials, they could potentially be reproduced, altered, or re-used by third parties outside of the University of Stellenbosch’s control.
I have the right to withdraw my consent at any time by emailing maties@sun.ac.za and that the withdrawal of my consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before my withdrawal.
I have been made aware of Stellenbosch University’s privacy policy, which details the manner in which the photographs and/or Recordings may be stored and processed, my rights as a data subject, and the contact details for Stellenbosch University’s information officer if I wish to withdraw this consent.
I agree that the intellectual property and performers’ rights (if any) in the Recordings are owned by Stellenbosch University, its agents or third parties (“Producers”) and waive any rights to inspect, approve or object to the Recordings or the exercise of their entitlements, as aforesaid.
I waive all rights to receive any payment or consideration including royalties for the Recordings.
