The Argon laser of the confocal microscope was returned today, but upon testing, we found the issue was not resolved. The complete laser unit will now have to be sent for repairs. The violet and red lasers are still functioning well, so do not hesitate to contact us, should you need to use them.

Confocal Argon Laser
The Argon laser (458 nm, 488 nm and 514 nm) of the confocal microscope is currently out of order. The repairs are due next week, so we will update you as soon as it is ready to use again. The following lasers are still available:405 nm (for most of the blue dyes), 561 nm and 633 nm (both of which are mostly for red dyes). Super-resolution microscopy is also still available.

New features to be added
Soon you will be able to read a bit more background on each of our staff members. We will also upload all the specifications of our instruments and give you some more information on the new developments in our unit this year.
Although it is already visible, we will only start using the online booking system as soon as it has been properly set up to serve all our instruments.
We will also add an online user information form, to make sure we have all your necessary details.
