What is the function of the Tygerberg Societies Council?

The Tygerberg Societies Council is a student run organization that represents all TSC registered societies on Tygerberg campus.

Is there membership/subscription fee to be a part of the TSC?

Each individual society has their own registration fee that will be charged should a student decide to join a society.

Can I join more than one society?

Yes, students are allowed to join as many societies as they like but will be charged the registration fee for each individual society that they choose to join.

How do I join a society?

When I am enrolled at the University as a first year, am I eligible to run for the TSC?

The TSC is made up of all the chairpersons of the different societies registered with the TSC.

Each individual society has their own requirements for being on their executive committees and being able to represent and protect their interests as a member of the TSC.
