Nestled along the banks of the Eerste River and at the foot of the Stellenbosch Mountain, the town lies in the heart of the Western Cape winelands. Stellenbosch, or the Eikestad (City of Oaks) as it is also known thanks to the many oak trees lining the streets of the town, offers students, residents and visitors an abundance of unforgettable experiences to choose from.
