Sedert die BTK in 1928 gestig is, was daar nog net een toer in die Noorde van ons land, en daardie toer was 47 jaar gelede. Dus is dit hoogtyd dat die BTK weer ‘n bietjie die hoëveld gaan besoek, en nie net vir enige staproete nie, maar vir die Fanie Botha, een van die top vyf staproetes in ons land!
Die BTK is in ‘n baie bevoorregte posisie om nie net die staproete in ‘n winter vakansie te kan doen nie, maar ook dat ons hierdie wêreldbekende staproete met 60 mense kan stap!

This July, we only have 4 words for you…FANIE BOTHA BACKPACKING TOUR!! Yes its correct, this holiday the BTK is going for a hike in Mpumalanga, and believe you me, you DO NOT want to miss out on this LEGEN…wait for it…DARY hiking trip!
In our 85 years of existence, the BTK has only once before had a backpacking tour in the northern part of our country, and that was 47years ago. Thus it is about time for the BTK to pay a visit to the Highveld, and not just for any hiking trail, but for the Fanie Botha, one of the top five hiking trails in our country!
The BTK is very fortunate to be able to do this world renowned trail in a winter holiday, as well as to be allowed to do it with 60 people!
