South African Medico-Legal Society: Western Cape Seminar – 7 September 2013

The South African Medico-Legal Society (SAMLS) will hold its first Western Cape Seminar at the Law Faculty on Saturday 7 September 2013. The objectives of SAMLS is to advance the inter-relationships between medicine and law and to promote excellence in medico-legal practice by promoting dialogue and mutual understanding between members of the professions involved.

To date, SAMLS has held regular seminars and events in the Gauteng area and will now also broaden their scope to the Western Cape. Membership to the SAMLS includes judges, academics, legal practitioners, medical practitioners and other professional practitioners registered with the HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa) and who have an interest in the objectives of the SAMLS.
