Midwinter by South Africans were celebrated at the SANAP stations and in South Africa.

A map was signed by all those attending the Midwinter celebrations in Hermanus.
The SA Antarctic Committee (SAAC) held Midwinter in Pretoria on 29 June
SANAE15 held a reunion the previous night and join the Midwinter feast in Hermanus with family members
Marion team members were well presented at Hermanus
SANSA represented SANAE and Marion Teams

Thank you to Jonathan Ward of SANSA in providing and Liesel Pretorius, Dj van Wyk, Monica Leitner and the Antarctic Legacy of South Africa in arranging the Midwinter in Hermanus. Patches and other material were sold and a percentage of the money will be donated to The Mouse-Free Marion Project.
