Oorlogskloof en Fanie BothaNog nie kans gehad om vir een, of altwee, van ons ongelooflike wintertoere te kom inskryf nie? Jy het tot Vrydag, 17 Mei kans om in te skryf! (Moenie tot die laaste nippertjie wag nie, toere kan vinnig vol word!)

Die vraag wat almal vra: Albei toere is glad nie te veeleisend nie, dus hoef jy nie te veel oor fiksheid te bekommer nie!! Meisies hoef ook nie tente saam te dra nie!

Oorlogskloof: 12 tot 16 Junie

  • TOERPRYS: R830 (lede) en R930 (nie-lede)
Fanie Botha: 14 tot 21 Julie

  • TOERPRYS: R2100 (lede) en R2200 (nie-lede)
    • Deposito van R1100 betaalbaar met inskrywings
    • Toerrprys sluit in alle vervoer, kos, verblyf en permit kostes in
    • Afslag sal nog bevestig word vir lede wat nie al die pad van Stellenbosch af en terug vervoer nodig het nie.

  • ONTHOU: Die Fanie Botha is een van Suid-Afrika se top staproetes, en aangesien die BTK vir hom afslag gekry het, is dit die goedkoopste wat jy hom ooit sal kan gaan stap! So moenie hierdie geleentheid deur jou vingers laat glip nie! Kom skryf in voordat dit te laat is!

  • By die BTK kantoor (4de vloer Neelsie) weeksdae tussen 13:00 en 13:50
  • As jy by die trappe langs Café Go opgaan tot heel bo, dan is ons die eerste kantoor aan jou linkerkant!

Toerusting…

  • As jy nog nie ‘n stapsak of ‘n tent het nie,  die BTK verhuur! Tente @ R150/toer en rugsakke @R100/toer.
  • First come, first serve. Epos: jh.wiid01@gmail.com om toerusting te bespreek.
  • LET WEL DAMES: Vir beide die wintertoere hoef julle nie julself te bekommer oor die ekstra gewig van ‘n tent nie, aangesien daar reeds tente, by Oorlogskloof, en hutte, by Fanie Botha, vir die dames beskikbaar is.

Oorlogskloof and Fanie Botha

Did you not yet have the time to sign up for one, or both, of our legendary winter hiking tours? No problem, you still have to Friday, 17 May, to sign up (but don’t wait to long, since both of these tours are very popular!)

The question on everybody’s mind: Neither of these tours are to fitness intense, thus you do not have to worry to much about fitness. Furthermore, girls do not have to bring their own tents!

Oorlogskloof: 12-16 June.

  • TOUR PRICE: R830 (members) en R930 (non-members)
Fanie Botha: 14-21 July.
  • TOUR PRICE: R2100 (members) en R2200 (non-members)
    • Deposit of R1100 payable upon entry
    • Tour price includes all transportation, food, permit and accommodation costs
    • Discount will still be finalised for tourists that do not need transport all the way from Stellenbosch and back.

  • REMEMBER: The Fanie Botha is one of South Africa’s best hiking trails. Furthermore, the BTK has received discount for this trail, thus this is the cheapest that you will ever be able to hike this world renowned trail. So make sure you do not let this once-in-a lifetime opportunity slip through your fingers!

Entries for both tours open for everybody (members and non-members) to Friday, 17 May!

  • At the BTK office (4th floor Neelsie), between 13:00 and 13:50.
  • If you go up with the stairs next to Café Go to the top floor, we will be your office on the left.
Equipment:
  • If you do not yet own your own hiking backpack, or tent,  the BTK rents out tents @ R150/tour and backpacks @R100/tour.
  • First come, first serve. To book equipment, please email Johan Wiid:  jh.wiid01@gmail.com.
  • PLEASE NOTE LADIES: For both these winter tours, you do not have to worry about the extra weight of a tent, since there are already tents available at Oorlogskloof, and huts available at Fanie Botha for the ladies.
