Dr Karin Calitz het in 2004 by die fakulteit aangesluit. Sy spesialiseer in arbeidsreg en haar doktorale proefskrif het die arbeidsreg en die posisie van plaaswerkers in Suid-Afrika ondersoek. Dr Calitz was voorheen betrokke by Vista Universiteit (Pretoria) en onderrig arbeidsreg en handelreg.

Dr Karin Calitz was appointed at the Department of Mercantile Law in 2004. She specialises in labour law and her doctoral thesis investigated the labour law position of farm workers in South Africa. Dr Calitz previously held a lecturing position at Vista University (Pretoria), teaching mercantile law and labour law.
