Maëlle Connan, David Hedding and Bruce Dyer are running an initiative to compile an updated list of people who have visited Prince Edward Island.

The current Management Plan for the Prince Edward Islands Special Nature Reserve permits visits of up to eight days, at intervals of five years or longer, by a restricted number of researchers. With your help we can update the list for all those that have been able to visit Prince Edward Island

In November a group of researchers visited Prince Edward Island for a long overdue, and highly anticipated, scientific expedition.  Prince Edward Island Scientific Survey Team: Azwianewi Makhado, Maëlle Connan , David Hedding , Charlene Janion-Scheepers  Rowan Jordaan , Makhudu Masotla , Thomas Mufanadzo , Chris Oosthuizen  Liezl Pretorius , Janine Schoombie , Stefan Schoombie  Yinhla Shihlomule , and Elsa van Ginkel. Smith, Gerneke,Grobbelaar, Truter, Cooper), visit by Alan Crawford, the annexation and some of the voyage schedules. These collections are not comprehensive. ALSA would like to add any documents, diaries and images to its collection and you can contact riaolivier@sun.ac.za if you would like to contribute to the archive
