International Women’s Day – Celebrating achievements

“Invest in Women – Accelerate Progress”

  • Celebrate women’s achievement.
  • Raise awareness about discrimination.
  • Take action to drive gender parity.
  • IWD belongs to everyone, everywhere.

During the 6th SANAP Symposium there were women as established researchers and as students. The theme of the symposium was to build a research community and that includes all women. Early career researchers were inspired by established researchers and Principal investigators that are seen as their mentors.

On this 8 March 2024 we celebrate the publication paper achievements of the principal investigators of the South African National Antarctic Program over the years.
