Promoting South Africa’s involvement in the Antarctic Region.
Antarctic Legacy of South Africa (ALSA) will be supplying flyers to all interested Universities for Open Days. These flyers are to be placed at the University Departments or Faculties stalls with a current involvement in the Antarctic Region (including Antarctica, the Southern Ocean and the sub-Antarctic Regions – specifically the Prince Edward Islands).
These flyers could be used as a point of reference for those students interested in Antarctic research and it will lead them to the Antarctic Legacy of South Africa’s web page where they could browse over nine different pages with sub-pages, for more information regarding South Africa’s involvement in the Antarctic Region.
We have already distributed flyers to three Departments within Stellenbosch University (Department of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering, Department of Botany and Zoology and Department of Earth Sciences) which will be made available at the Open Day this Saturday, 24 February 2018 (see event info)
Please contact ALSA (antarcticlegacy@sun.ac.za) if you would like us to send flyers to your institution.
