On the 6th of December the Unitaid executive board visited the Desmond Tutu TB Centre, Stellenbosch University to see the impact of the innovative BENEFIT Kids project.
This included a visit to the Biomedical Research Institute, FAMCRU and the Brooklyn Chest site office.
The BENEFIT KIDS team shared high level findings from the TB CHAMP trial, the PETITE study, and the CHILPREF studies, where children take part in taste tests to determine the best possible flavours for TB drug formulations.
