Stellenbosch University leads groundbreaking research project in paediatric TBM

An article on the iThemba research project, written by DTTC clinician, Dr Carien Bekker, was featured on the Stellenbosch University website.

The project was launched at Tygerberg Children’s Hospital and is implemented by the Desmond Tutu TB Centre at Stellenbosch University. The aim of this ambitious project, led by Dr. James Seddon, is to address the challenges of this disease through innovative research and offer hope for TBM-affected children and their families.
