E-Mails are sent out with announcements, tips, tutorials, surveys and all manner of help for students and personnel alike. In a lot of cases those e-mails are forgotten, lost, deleted and sometimes even ignored…until they are needed again. In desperation the person with the problem begins moaning like a bear with a hangover and then phones up the IT HelpDesk, or the GERGA office and expects to receive instant help in the form of the the mythical “IT” magical wand.
This blog is intended to provide Tygerberg users – personnel and student alike – with a source of help, tips and tutorials. It will hopefully be a bit of an “information exchange”, but will only be as good as the material it contains.
