Professor Ary Hoffman is Chair of Ecological Genetics at the University of Melbourne, Australia. He is a member of the Australian Academy of Science, past ARC Australian Laureate Fellow, past President of the Australian Entomological Society, past President of the Australasian Genetics Society. His primary interest lies in evolution and genetic adaptation to climate stress and works in the areas of pest control and environmental stress adaptation.
As a C·I·B fellow, Ary will collaborate with C·I·B Core Team member, John Terblanche, as well as with students and post-doctoral fellows. Ary will also give a talk at the C·I·B end-of-year workshop from 14 – 15 November 2019.
