    Visa:

This was my 1st time leaving the country, so the most important thing is to get a passport so that you may apply for a visa. I got my passport in February before I applied for the summer school. Please note that the German embassy is very strict about the size of the visa photo – they then asked me to go to this other shop to take a visa photo specific to the German embassy, so allow time for that.

Dreams do come true and we have the power to make them real. We just have to believe in ourselves and anything is possible. The application process for an international summer school is rather straight forward – all instructions are available on SU International’s website.  A key component is selecting a summer school that you are interested in. Research, research and research the courses and programmes you may be interested in.

The first thing I did, was to book my flights. The sooner the cheaper, and you need booked return flights for the visa application. I used a travel agency to make the booking. They could get me the cheapest flights, with convenient lay over times. They also arranged the travel insurance.
